Many thanks to friends (old and new) who have come along
to our Matt & Shannon Heaton shows. It's been a wonderful
few months in New England, and we're busy booking Pennsylvania
for Feb, Texas and Midwest for March, and much, much more.
New dates added all the time right here.
Plus, we are still enjoying happy feedback from our new
holiday/winter album... of course, instrumental tracks,
as well as our general winter song "Fine Winter's
Night" are getting more attention this month than,
say, "Julius the Christmas Cat." Although we
are HONORED to have inspired a name for a new kitten!
And speaking of cats, we're tucking into a few cat naps
during our Irish music cruise of the Mexican Riviera.
Touring beaches by day, entertaining passengers by night...
Also, during downtime on the cruise, Shannon will begin
writing her new blog. She aims to become one of Irish
music's more eloquent writers, starting one blog at a
time.
In other news, Kieran Jordan, Boston's innovative Irish
dance pioneer has teamed up with the Heatons to develop
new percussive sounds to weave into ballads. Vocals and
feet... a little-explored frontier... do stay tuned for
news of this exciting new collaboration. We have a few
festivals lined up together, with hopefully many more
to follow.
